31.12.08 | New Year greetings and 2008 Annual ReportDear clients, colleagues and partners, everybody who is interested in coaching, On behalf of the Russian School of Coaching “East-West” let me wish you all the best in the year 2009. Let the New Year be the year of love & luck and bring happiness & health to you! We are looking back to 2008 with gratitude and we would like to share this feeling with you, who participated in our open and corporate programs and attended the events we organized.
Coaching we offer and teach to at our School differs from others
• being systemic in best western traditions of coach-client interaction
• bringing eastern metaphoric language and refined Sufi irony • combining hospitality and lightness, spontaneity and openness which are part of the Great Russian Soul • using homoeopathic principles. Our coaches know and share effective homoeopathic effect which sounds ‘less matter, more energy’ – the more delicate tools and techniques coach uses the deeper and higher scale results client gets.
The Russian School of Coaching “East-West” now integrates the best international traditions and Russian experience in coaching and offers professional support in people and organizations development to our Clients and Students.
There are three main achievements of the year:
2008 became a year of our regional development. We launch groups «Practical Coach» the 1st stage of course «Professional Coach» in Saint-Petersburg, Ufa (Ural) and Novosibirsk (Siberia). We are going to move to Rostov-on-Don (Southern Russia), Vologda, Cherepovets and other cities in the next year.
2008 was a year of further development in coaching skills training. Through our experience we came to a conclusion that a short term intensive course combining workshops, seminars and supervision can be a good start for those who get into coaching field. Based on it we are shaped our «Professional Coach» course which consists of three stages now: 1st stage: «Practical Coach»- 3 modules (initiation)
2nd stage: «Coach-Spesialist»- 3 modules(specialization) 3rd stage: «Professional Coach»- 4 modules (profession) This lets our students shape their training course individually depending on their targets. We also made it more available and effective for those who decided to work as a coach. Even after «Practical Coach» stage our students get necessary understanding, tools and skills to start building their coaching practice including selling coaching.
22 of 170 graduates of the 1st level “Practical Coach” have passed through the 2nd stage «Coach-Spesialist» during 2008.
Our ‘Business Coaching’ and ‘Leadership’ programs are successfully integrated into MBA programs at The Academy of National Economy (ANE) under the Government of the Russian Federation.
In 2008 we maintained the weekly workshops tradition as they became a highly valuable for our students and let our potential clients experience life and business coaching. We also had weekly ‘Systemic Coaching’ workshop using Bert Hellinger systemic constellation methodology. In 2008 more than 1000 people from Russia and other countries (former USSR countries, USA, France, Canada, Israel, Bulgaria etc) have downloaded our free Coaching E-course form our sites. We have 3500 subscribers who get our weekly updates from our sites:

We also would like to thank all speakers and participants of our 3 PARC conferences (Professional Association on Russian-Speaking Coaches) for your input in the development of this informal non-commercial professional body in year 2008. Nearly 200 coaches and other professionals linked with coaching attended our 4th-6th PARC conferences. The PARC idea of structuring the coaching market and setting quality standards for Russian-Speaking coaching Community as well as building professional providers network was considered timely not only by coaches but also by coaching schools, individual and corporate clients.
At least we launch a project of e-learning and presented a basic version of DVD-COACHING Course at Training-EXPO 2008. Please find details about project and course’s versions on www.dvd-coaching.com.
